There is no decision to terminate the transportation support provided by the Ministry of Family and Social Services for low-income university students studying away from their hometowns.
Under the program—accessible via the e-Government (e-Devlet) portal—students are eligible for up to four free trips per year: two round-trip tickets to visit their families. The cost of these tickets is covered by the state, with a maximum limit of 7,600 TL.
Unfounded claims aimed at manipulating public opinion should not be given credit.
